It's supposed to be fun to work and produce and these plugins are literally driving me mad.
Imagine having to do that with working on a full length album. When that doesn't work, I have to deactivate the track and then reactivate the track.
Sometimes that doesn't even work and I have to drag the instrument to a blank instrument track and then back to the original track. The only way to fix it is to reload the saved preset for each Arturia instrument plugin. They'll play different sounds, the volume will be off, audio will be missing from one side of the stereo channel, distorting and popping - you name it. It's an extremely simple and common setup.Īlmost all of my Arturia instrument plugins do not recall properly when I save a session and reopen the session. I have an iMac Pro, a Keylab 88, and an Apollo 8. I felt very confident that I had received the clarification that I needed, until I read this thread.I'm using V Collection and Analog Lab on a number of sessions on Pro Tools. I believe in the product, but I do feel at times that the customer service is an area of growth, with the exception of Victor, who seemed to have been very attentive to this same question last week, and treated it with a sense of urgency. I do hope that Arturia will consider making this adjustment to improve its customer service.
offices had phone support, which is an area where Roland and Alesis functioned exemplary in my experience over the past 25 years. This could have been handled more quickly in my opinion if your U.S. I will confirm this on Wednesday, March 25th, 2015 when my package arrives, but for now, I think we are all now finally on the same page. These facts combined with your clarification above indicate that Analog Lab is indeed compatible with Avid's latest release of Pro Tools 11. The latest, commercially available version of Pro Tools is 11. The keyword, "latest" has been bold-ed for your benefit.
"This value-packed bundle provides you with a great-sounding portable USB audio interface and the latest version of Avid Pro Tools " In the first paragraph of the description section of the link, you'll find the following: Thank you Dave, I think your last sentence is providing me with the clarification that I've been requesting. Disappointing to buy the Keylab on the strength of the sounds then find they don't work with protools!
So ideally, could someone from Arturia let me know how to make PTexpress recognise the licence for Analog Lab, or suggest a way around this.Īny suggestions gratefully received.
PTex should run aax32 / rtas / vst plugins - Analog Lab appears to be a 64bit plugin - could this be the problem? if so is there a 32bit version I could roll back to? In the /library/Arturia folder there are vst and vst3 versions - should these be in the library/application support/avid/audio/plugins/arturia folder (where the Analog Lab.aaxplugin is, but nothing else)? Investigated workaround - use VST or RTAS? Can't find RTAS version. Have no idea how to make it recognise the aax authorization, I updated AL from Elicenser to Arturia Software Centre licence. On load PTex gives err msg "protools would not load the following plugins because no valid authorization could be found, the Ilok key was not connected or the plugin was damaged" Analog Lab.aaxplugin Hope someone can help fix or work around this please.
